Biography

A lot of actors will tell you that they've been performing for as long as they can remember, but in the case of Dylan Kussman, it goes back even further than that. Born in Los Angeles to a family of entertainers, Dylan was introduced to the business as an infant of only six months. By the time he was a teenager, Dylan had already appeared in a handful of television shows including "Punky Brewster" and "Married with Children." In what would be a career-defining role, he was cast as Richard Cameron in the Oscar-winning coming-of-age drama "Dead Poets Society," starring Robin Williams. Despite his early success, the dedicated actor opted to study theater and music at U.C. Berkeley. Following his graduation, Dylan continued to ply his trade in both movies and TV, with bit roles in popular shows like "The X-Files" and "House M.D.," as well as feature films like "X2: X-Men United" and the George Clooney-directed football comedy "Leatherheads." But Dylan's career never quite took off, so in 2006 he moved with his wife to Tennessee to begin producing his own projects, like the film-noir web series "The Steps," which premiered online in 2010.
