Biography
Michael Harris found incredible success as an accomplished actor, appearing in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Harris appeared in such films as the western "Flesh and the Spur" (1957) with John Agar, "The 27th Day" (1957) with Gene Barry and "The Amazing Colossal Man" (1957). He also appeared in the Alan Brock thriller "Shriek of the Mutilated" (1974), the drama "Hostage" (1982) with Kerry Mack and the drama "Making Love" (1982) with Michael Ontkean. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the comedy "The Pickle" (1993) with Danny Aiello, the Dennis Haysbert thrilling mystery "Suture" (1994) and the Jay Underwood thriller "Sleepstalker: The Sandman's Last Rites" (1995). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Master P dramedy "I'm Bout It" (1997), "Silent Lies" (1997) and the dramatic comedy "The Watermelon Woman" (1997) with Cheryl Dunye. He also appeared in "Santa Fe" (1998) and "I Love You... Don't Touch Me!" (1998) with Marla Schaffel. Most recently, Harris acted on "Major Crimes" (TNT, 2011-).
