Biography
Nina Hagen was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Hagen worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Bildnis einer Trinkerin" (1979), "Driving Me Crazy" (1991) starring Thomas Gottschalk and "Just One Step: The Great Peace March" (1989) starring Martin Sheen. She also contributed to "L' Annee des Meduses" with Valerie Kaprisky (1987). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like the documentary "Just Visitng This Planet - Die Winterreise" (1991) with Kazou Ohno, the experimental "Dandy" (1992) with Blixa Bargeld and "Jonas in the Desert" (1994) with Jonas Mekas. Recently, she tackled roles in "Nina Hagen = Punk + Glory" (2002) and "7 Zwerge--Maenner Allein Im Wald" (2004). Hagen also contributed music to the Ton Steine Scherben documentary "Der Traum ist Aus" (2001). Most recently, Hagen acted in the foreign sequel "7 Zwerge--Der Wald Ist Nicht Genug" (2006) with Otto Waalkes.
