Jeanette MacDonald Autobiography: The Lost Manuscript. In 1960, Jeanette hired magazine writer Fredda Dudley Balling to ghostwrite her autobiography. Balling's own letters help explain why it was never published; Jeanette's handwritten comments are on nearly every page of the unfinished manuscript. Nelson Eddy: The Opera Years. Complete coverage of Nelson's early career, 1922-35.
