1h 14m 2012

Brief Synopsis

The Manzanar fishermen were Japanese-Americans held in internment camps during WWII. They defied the armed guards, barbed wire and searchlights to fish for trout in the surrounding waters of the Eastern Sierra. As legal battles were being fought to free them, the Manzanar fishermen were exercising their rights the only way that they could, by risking all to go fishing just like other ordinary Americans.
