Synopsis
Shaleha Sarail comes from a water-village in Sitangkai, Tawi-Tawi, a province is a seaweed producing area in the southern most part of the Philippines. After experiencing a 3rd miscarriage, Shaleha realizes she probably cannot bear a child. While adoptive parents to their nephew, she becomes determined to satisfy her husband's desire to father his own child. In doing so, she decides to help her husband search for a fertile woman with which to have a child. For days, they travel to nearby communities to find him a new wife. Eventually, Shaleha follows up on a recommendation from friends. But on the the eve of her husband's second marriage, Shaleha finds herself consumed by jealousy.
