Synopsis
Naive twenty-year-old Khoi travels from the countryside to Ho Chi Minh City to begin a new life. Once there, he befriends Dong, a handsome extrovert who offers to share his apartment. Khoi goes to check out the place and meets Lam who also appears to be living there. Khoi decides to take Doug up on his offer, and while he is showering, Dong and Lam steal all his belongings. Eventually, Lam is abandoned by Dong and ends up back on the street as a prostitute. Meanwhile the penniless Khoi is forced to take on menial jobs to survive. Lam and Khoi cross paths, and despite Lam's past actions, the two become close even though Khoi is troubled by Lam's dangerous source of income.
