Synopsis
In the 1920s, Polish war veteran Wiktor Ruben returns to the town where he spent his childhood summers. There he is reaquainted with a family of five women, each of whom had been in love with him at one time. Most of the women are now disillusioned, some are estranged from their husbands and the youngest has a crush on Wiktor.
