Synopsis
Intellectual Jewish teacher Willie meets the outgoing Italian-American fashion photographer Phil at a screening of Jules and Jim and the two instantly become good friends. When they meet Jeanette, who has moved to New York from the South, the duo becomes a threesome. A romantic triangle results and lasts over the next nine years.
