Synopsis
Jim, a Maine fisherman who lives with his widowed mother, marries a neighborhood girl, Dora, when his sweetheart, Eve, goes to New York to become a pop singer. Dora is unsure of Jim's love for her until Eve, visiting them a year later, shows herself as aloof and jaded. Dora learns that Eve purposely assumed this attitude to make Jim forget her and to assure Dora's happiness.
