Brief Synopsis

After returning home from the war, a young GI has a chance encounter with the beautiful daughter of a wealthy vineyard owner and agrees to pose as her husband to help her face her domineering father. When their passions for each other are ignited amidst the magical sensuality of the harvest ritual, they unexpectedly find themselves embarking on a romantic adventure as they overcome all odds to be together.
