Synopsis
Larry Curado, a carefree American airman stationed in England, is a fancier of horseracing and pretty women. His uninhibited lifestyle gets him into trouble with the Air Force, and while resisting arrest on an AWOL charge, he knocks Sergeant Sokolow unconscious. Believing that he has killed the man, he flees to the coast with his girl friend, Julie, on her brother's motorbike. They meet another couple, Tom and Irene, at a transport cafe, and when the women come out of the cafe, they are deceived by the similarity of their boyfriends' clothes and mount the wrong motorbikes. The two couples do not discover the mistake until they are well on their way, and in the course of their adventures, Irene falls in love with Larry and Julie with Tom. Irene convinces Larry to return to the base and give himself up. He does so, and, finding that Sokolow is unharmed, he gets off with a light sentence when he announces that he and Irene will marry. Tom and Julie also wed, and a year later the two women are discovered wheeling identical baby carriages.
