Synopsis
Having witnessed her Aunt Helen's murder in the family swimming pool 6 years earlier, 21-year-old Emmaline Garrison returns home, the amnesiac bride of Warren Clyner, her aunt's former beau. There she encounters Luther, the caretaker, and his nephew, Craig, to whom she is attracted. Together Craig and Emmaline explore the mansion. While so doing, Emmaline's memory is restored, and she recalls Everett, the mentally retarded son of Aunt Helen. Meanwhile, Warren is arrested for fraud by U. S. Treasury agents. Startled by Craig while attempting to drown Emmaline in the pool, Luther suffers a heart attack. Before expiring, he reveals that he had murdered Everett, his own homicidal son, and then killed Helen, his paramour, to insure her silence.
