Synopsis
On the South Sea island of Tongawarra lives Rosalie Dumay, an orphaned French girl who previously lived on her father's trading ship. It is understood that she is an heiress and that her father left her a fortune in care of an uncle in France. A young trader, Captain Briggs, decides to marry her for her money and tricks her into the ceremony.
