Synopsis
Susan Barton arrives in New York City from Dayton, finds work as a go-go dancer, and takes an apartment with Diane Rogers. To meet eligible men, Susan joins a dating service operated by Vic Keller. Diane, a lesbian, arranges with Keller to introduce Susan to a number of undesirable men, hoping thereby to persuade Susan to come to her for affection. Susan's first date, public relations man Roy Davenport, treats her to an evening out, and later he easily seduces her in his apartment. But Susan quickly changes her mood when Davenport tries to switch places with his client, General Motley, to whom he has promised a night's entertainment. George Michaels, Susan's second date, approaches her without revealing that he came by way of Keller; he seduces her and is rejected when he brings in a friend to photograph their lovemaking. Distraught, Susan retreats to Diane for solace, still ignorant of Diane's intention that Susan give up men. Diane and Keller arrange another date for Susan. Their plans go awry, however, when Susan leaves a wild party with antique dealer Jim Norton. Keller knows that Norton is dangerously disturbed, and he and Diane search for Susan. They find her, chained to a chair, the object of Norton's sadism. Norton is killed in the struggle, and it appears that Susan will finally be receptive to Diane's sexual offer.
