Synopsis
After years working in the United States, Pedro returns home to his small mountain village in Guerrero, Mexico. There, he finds his daughters older and more distant than he imagined, but his wife still has the same smile. The villagers are hopeful that this year's crop will be bountiful and there is opportunity for work in the nearby growing city. All the same, the locals are used to having to struggle, and their thoughts are often of family members or opportunities north of the border.
