Synopsis

New York con artist Timothy O'Reilly flees the United States for the greener pastures of Scotland, where his son Terry is courting the daughter of wealthy businessman Malcolm McNab. Timothy quickly resorts to his old ways, and sells Mrs. McNab a fake weight reducing pill, then immediately adjusts her scales to prove its success. In the end, the two fathers end up in a golf game to decide the fate of their children's planned marriage.
