Synopsis

Similar to the gold rush in North America at the turn of the 20th century, Mongolia has caught the fever. Concern for their nomadic traditions or the environment takes a backseat to the search for this precious metal. While foreign corporations have already mined the Mongolia for gold, approximately 10,000 rogue Mongolian nomads or Ninjas have begun plundering the land for the leftovers. Here, we follow desperate Ninjas as they risk their lives on their illegal gold digs in the Gobi desert.
