Synopsis

A couple hosts a weekend party at their country estate. Among the guests are two lovers of the host, both of whom are married and are attending the party with their spouses. When the husband flirts with yet another woman, his lovers become jealous. Meanwhile, his wife's former fiancé informs her of her husband's infidelity and asks her to go away with him. That evening, the husband is murdered, and the wife is suspected because her husband's bloody pajamas are found in her bedroom. Her former fiancé confesses to the murder, but only to protect her. A police investigation proves that the husband was killed by one of his jealous lovers, and with her name cleared, the wife and her former fiancé reunite.

Notes

According to a review in Harrrison's Reports, Willis Kent adapted Wilson Collison's story for the screen, however, this credit is not confirmed by other sources. A contemporary review in Film Daily cites a cast member as Virginia Bruce, while a review in Variety names Virginia Roye. As Bruce is a documented actress, her name is included in this record.
