Synopsis
Katia is in a wheelchair due to her muscular dystrophy, but she does not allow her disability to impede her physically or psychologically. Rosalba, her shallow but good-hearted friend, corresponds with a convict named Danilo who she has a crush on. Because she has difficulty translating her emotions into words, she enlists Katia to compose letters for her. Danilo is intrigued by the letters, but it takes him a while to recognize that they come from a new author. Before long, Rosalba loses interest in the correspondence, while Katia and Danilo become more passionately attached to one another through their exchange.
