Synopsis
September 2011, Pope Benedict XVI visited Germany and the whole country was said to be gripped by Pope mania. One of his stops along his tour was in Erfurt. Instead of presenting us with images of an omnipresent Pope, we get a look at the behind-the-scenes orchestration that goes into preparing for his arrival. Grand images of Catholicism give way to police, security guards, snipers, first aid teams and all those required by protocol.
