Synopsis

On the same day that Col. Maurice Taylor of the Royal Flying Corps is married to Stella Elburn, his back is injured in an airplane accident, rendering him an invalid. Three years later, after he has clung to life out of devotion to his wife, his younger brother, Colin, returns from South America and at Maurice's request takes Stella out, resulting in their gradually falling in love. When Maurice dies, Nurse Wayland accuses Colin of murdering him with an overdose of sleeping powder; but Mrs. Taylor, who realized that Stella planned to elope, confesses that she administered the fatal overdose so that her son would never know that his wife left him.
