Synopsis
Bethany Pruitt is home-schooled and stuck with younger brother Shayne under the thumb of their upbeat but oppressive mother. Her only escape is a teen fashion magazine her absentee gay dad gives her. She runs away from home to life with her father, but finds that life with him and his boyfriend is no picnic either. While at her job at a cheap, trendy retail chain, Jail Bait, Bethany learns about Fashion Art Technology Institute, which she sees as a path for a better future. Her journey to achieve this goal will end up redefining her and her family.
