Synopsis

Two bandits, Leclerc and Tim McGuire, kill a Canadian Mountie during a robbery and frame Tom, an unwilling accomplice, for the crime. The Mountie's partner, Sergeant Ned Stone, follows a suspicious character to McGuire's fur trading post, where Tom's sister Ann works. McGuire's men hide the suspect, and Stone pretends to believe them when they insist that they have not seen him. Meanwhile, Tom sneaks into Ann's house and asks her to hide him, but when Stone visits Ann, he sees Tom's torn vest and arrests him for murder. Ann begs McGuire to help Tom, and when he laughs at her, she threatens to tell the police everything. McGuire is about to kill her when the suspect that Stone had chased earlier reveals that he is an undercover Mountie. The Mountie rescues Ann, while Stone captures McGuire and Leclerc. Stone and his superior, Inspector Devlin, trick McGuire into confessing to the murder. Tom is freed and Ann agrees to marry Stone.
