Synopsis

Blackie, an ex-outlaw, rides into town with his sidekick, a young orphan boy named Sandy. When the Sheriff uncovers Blackie's identity, the townspeople take Sandy away from him, thinking that he is a bad influence on the boy. Blackie has one friend in town, the minister, who is a reformed outlaw. Both he and Blackie are in love with Betty. After the express office is robbed, the Sheriff accuses Blackie of the crime, but Sandy clears him by swearing he saw two of Blackie's enemies leave the office before the robbery. Later, after Blackie is cleared, Sandy confesses to the minister that he didn't actually witness the men leaving, but guessed, correctly, that they were there. Now that Blackie has reformed, Betty chooses to marry him rather than the minister.
