Synopsis

An Arizona state detective comes to a tough mining town, where he hopes to capture a group of bandits, made up of brothers, who are terrorizing the territory. The detective secretly appoints himself deputy sheriff. After a hard-fought encounter, he triumphs over two members of the gang and makes plans to capture their leader. Meanwhile, the bandits blackmail a bank president, knowing that he has illegally lent money to a friend. After the bank is robbed, the detective succeeds in trailing the gang to their mountain hideout. Returning to town, he reveals his true identity and organizes a posse to capture the outlaws. As the gang is preparing to escape with its loot, they are captured in a battle, and the detective kills the bandit leader.
