Synopsis

In the 1980s, Irina Layevska was still the son of Mexican communist activists. With a resemblance to Che Guevara, both in her ideology and physical appearance, she became a leader of solidarity campaigns for the Cuban Revolution. Having been together with her partner Nelida fro years, she decided to embrace her feminine inclinations by changing her gender. Since she was very young, Irina suffered from a disease that confined her to a wheelchair. Now blind, her various limitations make her even more dependent on Nelida. Nonetheless, Irina's courageous battle against discrimination and prejudice continues.
