Synopsis

While the youthful society set is partying at the Long Island estate of the Bentons, Sandy, their son, is visiting Doris Lawrence and her grandmother nearby. Doris, a sweet and conservative type, declines to join the party, and Sandy returns to his guests. During a football game, Estelle is "tackled" by Sandy--an incident she uses as an excuse to engage in romance. The next day, Sandy takes Estelle for a ride in his airplane, and she insists that they land in a field and spend the night with friends. Doris learns of this incident and decides to be "modern"; and escorted to a party by Eddie Mason, she flirts with De Witt to make Sandy jealous. She enters a slave auction at a charity bazaar and stays out late at a beach party with De Witt. Infuriated, Sandy berates her, causing her to take off capriciously in his airplane; he goes to her rescue, but she crashes into a hangar. In the hospital, they affirm their love for each other and promise fidelity.
