Synopsis

After his father's death, documentary filmmaker David Fisher was the only one of his siblings to read his father's memoir. His father was a survivor of the Holocaust in Austria. After reading his father's memoir, Fisher travels to key locations in Austria and speaks with the elderly veterans in the United States who freed his father from the concentration camp. When he secures permission to visit the tunnel in Gusen, where his dad performed forced labor, he gets his two brothers and his sister to join him. The significance of their journey there allows Fisher and his siblings to grapple with the gritty details of their father's life and share in his legacy.
