Synopsis
South Korea. Young Poongsan crosses the border between South and North Korea to deliver messages for separated families who leave them in the wall separating the two countries, the so-called demilitarized zone. Poongsan fearlessly takes on the risk. One day, on a secret mission for government agents, he sneaks into North Korea to bring over In-oak, the lover of a North Korean defector. On the way back, they fall for one another. Her lover senses something has occurred between Poongsan and In-oak, Out of jealousy, he hands Poongsan over to the government. While being tortured, Poongsan is offered a chance to go abroad with In-oak in exchange for rescuing a fellow South Korean agent who infiltrated North Korea.
