Synopsis
Rocky is a Chicago barber who drinks a bit, but has a normal life, until he has a terrifying nightmare one night about his car hovering high in air. His wife and doctor dismiss the problem as being alcohol-related, but when Rocky goes to the location from the dream, he talks to an old man who saw the car floating. Suddenly filled with psychic energy, Rocky kills the man, and before long has also killed his doctor. The police lieutenant who investigates the murders suspects Rocky, but also suspects that there is something superhuman about the crimes and consults a professor at the Chicago Institute of Psychology. The professor explains it with his theory of psychotronic energy, that Rocky has somehow tapped the latent power of his subconscious mind. The lieutenant goes after Rocky, determined to stop him by any means, but he is hampered by a government agent who insists that the psychotronic man be captured alive.
