Synopsis
A look at a family consumed by greed and self-interest. The head of the Lopez-Aranda family is Gaspar, a retired politician who loves music. His cousin Celia, who was once a renowned opera singer, lives with him at his mercy, Gaspar's daughter Raquel has returned home from the United States and is waiting for Gaspar to die so she receive her inheritance. Fearful of being homeless, Celia and her family are stressed beyond belief. Trying to bring Gaspar out of his coma, Celia performs arias with her fellow opera singers, filling the family home with beautiful music. But the beauty of the music does not seem to resonate with the residents. Each remains jealous of the other and communication is near impossible.
