Synopsis
Laura Guerrero lives with her father and brother in a lawless border town in Mexico and dreams of becoming a beauty queen. After entering the Miss Baja California pageant, Laura is partying in a club with her best friend Suzu when a drug cartel bursts in and kills most of the people there. The killers find Laura hiding in a corner and let her go, but when she returns the next day to look for Suzu, they kidnap her and force her to become an accomplice in their criminal activities by threatening her life and the safety of her family.
