Synopsis
Seventeen-year-old Desson is shocked to discover his best friend Barry hanging from his garage ceiling. While Barry was drowning in gambling debts, his behavior never suggested he was suicidal. Moreover, the upbeat voicemail he left for Desson's just hours before his death indicates something is amiss. A regular participant himself at the clandestine gambling parlor set up in a classmate's basement, Desson decides to investigate. However, his inquiries are met with hostility and bruises,and eventually, lead him to the backroom of a Chinese restaurant, where the gambling stakes are even higher.
