Synopsis
Lonely Hamdi is a wig seller in a run-down district in Istanbul. He spends his days chain-smoking in his store which is also his home. Hamdi has been diagnosed with cancer so he only has a short time left. He has no real expectations except for wanting to go somewhere far away before he dies. In particular, he dreams of Brazil, because for him, it would be a paradise without pain. One particular day, a woman named Meryem comes into his store to sell her long hair. While cutting her hair, Hamdi finds himself oddly attracted by her despite her tears. His feelings quickly evolve into an obsession and Hamdi finds himself following her everywhere she goes. When Meryem realizes Hamdi is pursuing her, the situation becomes ever more bizarre.
