Synopsis
A look at Weissensee, Europe's biggest Jewish cemetery located in northern Berlin that is now 130 years old and is still open for new burials. It is the largest Jewish cemetery still in use in Europe. Walking through the cemetery is like taking a walk through history and its famous artists, philosophers, lawyers, architects, doctors, teachers of religion and publishers. In a few years, this protected area will officially be listed as one of UNESCO's world heritage sites.
