Synopsis

First World War flying ace Billy Bishop grew up a fighter, though not much of a team player. He preferred more solitary pursuits which was perhaps a sign of things to come. At fifteen, he built his first airplane out of ordinary household items. By seventeen, he entered the Royal Military College of Canada, where he was deemed the worst student at the school. Nonetheless, he would soon reach the pinnacle of his military career. By the end of the war, Bishop shot down a total of seventy-two enemy planes, becoming the Royal Flying Corps' most honored member.
