Synopsis
Young Sally Feathers arrives in London to become a model and moves into an apartment with Angela, an old school friend. Also living in the house are three other girls, Dee, Marion, and Cobber, an Australian, as well as Dee's brother, Paddy. On her first night Sally goes to a party where she meets and is strongly attracted to Keith Dexter, a photographer. Marion, who has become pregnant by her callous lover Prinny, breaks off with him when he suggests an abortion and then sells her grandmother's brooch for gambling money. Dee discovers that her wealthy boyfriend is already married and is a disreputable character involved in a slum rental racket. Sally's weekend affair comes to an abrupt end when the overly-anxious Keith tries to seduce her. Bitterly disappointed, Sally rushes home to seek comfort from the understanding Paddy. Instead she is shocked to find him embracing his boyfriend. Leaving for her first modeling class on Monday morning, Sally's spirits are lifted considerably when she finds the repentant Keith waiting to drive her to school.
