Synopsis
On the day of his birthday, a mysterious woman appears at Adam's salon and warns him of what is about to happen. Unsure what to make of the prophecy, Adam meets up with his lovingly eccentric queer friends at a bar. Shortly after however, the group is violently attacked by members of a tyrannical homophobic political party that threatens to take over the whole city. Waking up s in a seaside village the morning after the fight, Adam is taken in by an old hospitable couple. The two turn run a local dance studio, and encourage Adam to stay with them and learn Lenggok--a dance that mixes traditional Indonesian and hip modern dance. Discovering that Adam is a real talent, the elderly couple integrates him into their dance community and initiates him into the superpowers of the Lenggok dance. Adam is transformed into the soon-to-be legendary superheroine Madame X. Faced with the task to counter and eliminate the criminal actions of the tyrannical party leaders, Madame X embraces her newly acquired weapons to bring peace back to the world.
