Synopsis
A look at the sex trafficking world of Eastern Europe. The shadowy world of sex trafficking has many integral players: the women who have been sold and enslaved as prostitutes, the pimps, the crooked cops and the families. Here, we go on an investigative journey into this netherworld as revealed through the personal accounts of trafficked women, undercover footage, and still photography. We come to learn the root causes of why women continue to be sold into prostitution against their will and learn about the harrowing existence most women never escape.
