Synopsis
A portrait of 68-year-old recovering alcoholic Kuchera who has been pissing people off for 50 years. Kuchera is tired of his old ways and wants to become known as "Richard" to become more respectable. He also finally musters the courage to complete the eighth and ninth steps of the 12-Step Program, He wants to make amends with all the people he has mistreated over the years--from ex-wives to ex-mistresses, abandoned children to slighted pals. In order to do so, Kuchera, now Richard, leaves his North Dakota home and travels across the Great Plains region to Las Vegas to identify those he has wronged and reach out to them. But has he really changed?
