Synopsis

A portrait of Patty Schemel, the openly gay drummer for Courtney Love's band Hole during its peak years. As a young girl from rural Seattle, Patty always knew she was different from the other kids. She never could have imagined that one day she would be a member of one of the hottest rock music groups of the Nineties, and then lose it all, having embraced the dark side like her friend Kurt Cobain. While focused on Patty, we get a peek at the personal tragedies that plagued the band in its heyday as well as a behind-the-scenes look at hardball music-industry politics.
