Synopsis

In 2006, three American resort developers set up shop on the wild west coast of Nicaragua with the hopes to build the next tourist destination. What these inexperienced developers did not know was that the seemingly inexhaustible cheap manual labor was about to run out. The natives are restless and starting to see through this form of imperialism. When former revolutionary leader Daniel Ortega and the Sandinistas sweep back into government, the tables turn viciously on the American developers, who get much more than they bargained for. Dreams of plane loads of vacationers looking for paradise give way to death threats and armed assaults.
