Synopsis
In 2067, Milana recalls her childhood when her family and she lived under the threat of deportation as undocumented Chechen immigrants living in Paris. For Milana at age 11, she is one of thousands of children affected by the controversial immigration policy. When one of her tight-knit gang of friends is suddenly deported with his family, the group of children fear Milana will be next and they try to protect her. But when the perceived dangers continue to escalate, the kids hatch a plan to go into hiding for days. Their disappearance becomes a media frenzy, compelling the adult world to reconsider their priorities.
