Synopsis
A woman in her fifties, Rose has been married to an alcoholic, abusive husband for thirty long years. One day, she decides that enough is enough and kills him. Both relieved and disoriented, Rose goes to visit her estranged son Thomas in Brussels, hoping to find some affection. Unaware of what his mother has done and still scarred by a childhood spent with an abusive father, Thomas is unable to give her the comfort that she needs. When the police start suspecting Rose, Thomas is conflicted and asks his mother to leave. Alone and with no place to go, Rose finds herself on the run from the law.
