Synopsis

Although lovingly reared, small town boy Robert Palmer goes bad and is arrested. He pretends he is in Australia rather than jail by having his letters to home sent through an agency, which reroutes mail through Australia for a fee. Robert regains his position at a bank after his release, but is "shaken down" by a man from the mail service, who is also a cashier at the bank. The cashier robs the bank and attempts to frame Robert for the crime, but is stopped by New York Sergeant Detective Bender.
