Synopsis
Ben, an American industrialist, urges Carson, his daughter Melina's fiancé, to go to Chelsea and locate the girl. To her father's dismay, Melina has joined "The Pack," a band of depraved beatniks led by Moise. In England Carson discovers that Melina is missing and that Phil, a medical student and fellow member of The Pack, has committed suicide. Carson is joined by Ben, who finds his daughter, supposedly the victim of an auto accident, in a morgue. Aided by Nina, a benevolent beatnik artist, Carson learns from Moise that Nina died after a drunken fall, and that Phil, believing her to be alive, had sex with her corpse. Although Moise threatens to tell Ben the details of his daughter's demise, he relents. Nina's body is shipped to America, and Carson and Nina acknowledge their love for one another.
