Synopsis

26-year-old Kerry Hamill was sailing around Asia in April of 1978 with two friends when a storm shifted them off course and they were captured by a Khmer Rouge gunboat. One crew member was killed and the two survivors taken to the notorious S-21 prison. When Kerry's death in the prison was confirmed in 1980, director Rob Hamill was 16. In this documentary, Rob confronts the man known as "Duch" who ordered the torture and execution of his brother. He also speaks with three of the dozen survivors of S-21 and uses their testimony and archival footage to show the horror of Kampuchea under Pol Pot.
