Synopsis

Turning the camera on her family life, documentary filmmaker Renate Costa goes on a personal journey to discover the truth about the life and death of an uncle she barely knew. Working with meager strands of information, she begins to piece together the shadowy details of her Uncle Rodolfo's existence only to discover that in the eighties in Paraguay, under Stroessner's dictatorship, he was included in one of the "108 lists of homosexuals", arrested and tortured. This revelation brings to light the silent history of Paraguay's deep-rooted hostility towards the gay community.
