Synopsis
Al is days away from marrying the daughter of his boss and about to become the head of the car dealership where he's worked for most of his life. Coming back drunk from his bachelor party, Al commits a hit-and-run and is urged to leave the scene of the crime by his two friends who are with him. Filled with guilt, he goes to the hospital the next day to inquire anonymously about his victim, not knowing that the accident was witnessed by Juliette, who called 911 and helped contact the victim's wife Véra, a Moldavian illegal immigrant who she is now keeping company at the hospital. But when Juliette recognizes Al, she is unable to accuse him. As they get to know each other better, Juliette becomes a mediator between Al and the unsuspecting Véra. But things get complicated when romantic feelings develop between them and Véra finally finds out about their secret relationship.
